Pell Manor welcomes several Johnston officials for May Breakfast

The guest list was a veritable “who’s who” in Johnston as community members and local officials – including Mayor Joseph Polisena, Police Chief Richard S. Tamburini and state Sen. Frank Lombardo – turned out for the Claiborne Pell Manor Tenants Association’s annual May Breakfast.

President Marty Church, secretary Anna Murphy and treasurer Anna DePasquale greeted guests who enjoyed the nonprofit’s hospitality and an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast which, was prepared and served by Ralph’s Catering of Cranston.

“This association always has more than enough food for everyone at its events,” said David aRusso, executive director of the Johnston Housing Authority. “Just look at what those servers are bringing out.”

The menu, Church proudly noted while welcoming Polisena, included scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, French toast and a litany of other delicacies. (Text and photos by Pete Fontaine)
