Ready for the next step

The Loggia Cristoforo Colombo, an order of the the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, awarded its annual scholarships to Cranston natives Cory Dottor and Elizabeth Quigley.

Elizabeth graduated from LaSalle Academy, and she will be attending the University of Delaware as she pursues a career as a nurse practitioner. Her studies will take her to Africa in January to study nutrition. Her grandmother, Elaine Palumbo, who is a member of the Loggia Cristoforo Colombo, submitted Elizabeth’s name.
