Nearing completion

Work at the Citizens Bank Campus off of Greenville Avenue continues on schedule, with a planned ribbon cutting slated for August 14. On Monday, August 20, the first approximately 500 bank employees will begin working at the site. Employees will move in during the following weeks in increments to work out any kinks that may arise. According to Mike Knipper, head of property at the development and an executive vice president at Citizens, the bank is waiting for word from RIDOT regarding the Route 295 on and off ramps. DOT added a few items they wanted done that are now being worked on, and Knipper is hoping for a July 28th opening for the ramps. (Sun Rise and submitted photos)
