These same adjectives could also be used to describe the owner of Meraki Salon, Belinda Cain ~ a stylist of 28 years who opened her own business in Johnston last February. Belinda emits a warmth, calmness and energy that immediately draw her clients to her. This energy extends to every aspect of her salon, from the thoughtful display of tasty snacks and glasses of wine which are available to her clients to the cushy couch to the uplifting signs which adorn the walls. Every detail is intentional and personal to Belinda who realized a lifelong dream with the opening of Meraki.

The word “Meraki” also has significance to this talented business owner. In Greek, the word “Meraki” means “to do something with soul, creativity, or love: to put something of yourself into your work.” There is no better word to capture the passion and joy that Belinda brings to this exciting venture, her very own salon.

Belinda is excited to welcome a new stylist to the salon. Jannine Maynard has been a popular stylist at Super Cuts in Johnston for the past seven years of her career. When the opportunity to join Meraki Salon arose, Jannine jumped in with both feet. She brings her loyal clientele with her as well as her versatility and skill as a stylist. This dynamic duo welcomes new and former clients to this modern salon where they can enjoy a full-slate of services.
