Laying down the law


Ferri Middle School eighth-grade Team White civics students got a special visit from the Hon. Joseph Montalbano of the Rhode Island Superior Court as part of Law Day on Friday. Students learned about the First Amendment entails and how it plays a role in their everyday lives. Students received an in-depth lesson on how the nation’s basic freedoms affect all aspects of today’s society.
