The Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Post 2812 held an installation of officers for its long-serving Ladies Auxiliary Tuesday night inside the post headquarters at Ralphs Kitchen at 1418 Plainfield Pike on the Johnston-Cranston line.

There was food and fun, and a special cake made by Joyce Martinelli that featured an impressive Veterans of Foreign Wars logo. There was also a special toast to Carol Brouillette, who served as president of the 2812 ladies group for three decades.

Lillian Macera was installed as president while Donna Folcarelli and Barbara Weaver will serve as Senior and Junior Vice Presidents respectively. Joanne Silva is secretary and Linda Folcarelli was installed as treasurer.

Trustees are Jackie Dias, Julie Fagden and Diane Gardiner. The Conductress is Cynthia while Raycene Bentley is the Patriotic Instructor. Joyce Martinelli is the guard and Dorothy Bianchi will handle the Chaplin’s duties.
