Amanda Cronin of Walpole, Mass., who teaches at Nicholas A. Ferri Middle, and Christine Poland of Johnston, who teaches at Harry Kizirian Elementary School, were among those recognized by Santander Bank and the New England Revolution at the Revolution home game on August 11. The bank celebrated the incredible work that teachers do and hosted nearly 100 New England area educators during Teacher Appreciation Day at Gillette Stadium. All teachers in attendance were recognized on-field during a special halftime ceremony.

In addition, Santander Bank and the Revolution teamed up for Santander’s Day of Game school supply drive to help students get much needed school items as they prepare to head back to school. Santander Bank and the Revolution asked that fans and families attending the match bring donations for the drive. All items received were donated to Cradles to Crayons and distributed to children in need.

Santander Bank serves as the Official Bank of the New England Revolution, now playing its 23rd season. The partnership supports those making a positive impact across the New England community and Santander Bank is honored to recognize those entrusted with supporting the development and education of future generations.
