The Johnston Planning Board regular monthly meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Johnston Senior Center located at 1291 Hartford Avenue.

A. PB’17-16 Atwood Ave– Sasa Applicant: Rhonda Sasa – Property Location: 1056 Atwood Avenue, Plat 24-2 Lot 9 - Property Zoned: R-15

A Public Informational Meeting on the Master Plan submission of Atwood Ave/Sasa, a proposed two lot subdivision of a 2.03 Acre parcel with an existing dwelling. The purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss the presented plans and phasing, if proposed.

B. PB ’16-23 Parkside Shopping Center – Applicant: Picerne Properties- 1460 Hartford Ave, Plat 44/3 Lots 84, 85, 295, & 395 - Property Zoned ROD

A Preliminary Plan Review of Parkside Parking Center, a proposed four (4) commercial pad sites on a 4.06 acre parcel. The purpose of the meeting is to review the presented plans, discuss phasing and any requested waivers, hear public comment and to give direction to the applicant. The board may consider combing Preliminary and Final approval at this meeting.

C. PB ’17-14 Cassisi Properties- Solar Farm- Property Located at Hartford Avenue. Plat 54 Lot 42. Property Zoned- B-3.

A Public Informational Meeting on the Master Plan submission of Solar Farm on 15.6 acres. The purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss the presented plans and phasing, if proposed.

D. PB ’17-18 Advisory to the Town Council for a Purchase of Town-Owned Land. Property Located at Downing Drive. Plat 9 Lot 328. Property Zoned- R-15

Town Council seeks an advisory opinion from the Planning Board on the applicant interested in acquiring parcel on Plat 9 Lot 328, a 4,734 square foot vacant town-owned parcel on the corner of Downing Drive.

Documents available for review 8am-3pm, Planning Office, 100 Irons Ave. Items not heard by 10:30 pm rescheduled for subsequent meeting. Facilities are handicap accessible. Interpreter services to be requested from TTD (401) 792-9642, 72 hours advance notice required.
