JHS student council plans Spring Fever event

Posted

The Johnston High School Student Council has developed a new event that intends to bring all grades, family and friends together for one spectacular night.

The Student Council presents their first annual Spring Fever on Thursday, April 14, where the doors will open at 6 p.m. This night will begin with a hypnotist show presented by Peter Mamos, who will call upon audience members who will possibly become hypnotized.

The evening then follows with Deal or No Deal, Minute to Win It games and Family Feud. Students will be chosen randomly to participate in these games, and there will be many prizes to be won.

However, the highlight of the night will be the Pie Face Fundraiser, during which the students will raise money for different teachers to be pied in the face. All money raised will be used towards the 50th Homecoming, which will be held in the fall of 2017.

Spring Fever is a fun-filled night for people of all ages. Tickets will be sold in the school until April 12 and will be $15 at the door.
