Frederickson Farms to hold summer classic car cruises

Posted

For the second year in a row, Frederickson Farms will be hosting classic cruise nights on Wednesday nights throughout the summer at its Farmstand Café and Stove Shop in North Scituate. Frederickson Farms also announced that broadcast veteran Cruisin’ Bruce Palmer will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the weekly fun.

In addition to dozens of cars on display, the Frederickson Farmstand Café will be offering a large selection of original sandwiches. Frederickson Farms also features almost two dozen flavors of Gifford’s ice cream and yogurt. Discounts will be offered to classic car owners at the ice cream window.

Cruisin’ Bruce is well known on the radio dial throughout southern New England and also among classic car enthusiasts. He is out nearly every night of the week and on weekends sharing his love of oldies music and the great cars of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.

If you own an antique or classic vehicle or just love to look at the cars of days gone by, stop by Frederickson Farms every Wednesday night. The events will run from 5:00pm until dusk. There is no admission charge, but you are asked to bring a canned good that will be donated to a local food pantry.

Frederickson Farms is located at 985 Chopmist Hill Road in North Scituate, at the intersection of Routes 101 and 102. For more information, please call (401) 647-5427 or go to www.fredericksonri.com.
