Dolores B. (Paquin) Landy, 68, of Cranston, passed away peacefully April 12, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Russell A. Landy. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Lillian (Bassanette) Paquin. Mrs. Landy was a teacher's assistant for the Providence School Department for 15 years before retiring in 2003. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Michelle R. Waite and her husband, Beverl, of Cranston and Marc R. Landy and his wife, Dianne, of Coventry. She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan C. Ponder, serving in Kuwait with the RI National Guard. She was the sister of Annette Groccia of West Warwick, Gertrude Sherman, Elaine Paquin, both of Florida, Roger Paquin of West Warwick, George Paquin of Providence, Richard Paquin of Connecticut, Donald Paquin of South Carolina, Lionel Paquin of North Carolina and John Paquin of Florida. Her funeral was held April 18 from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Mark, Garden City, Cranston.
