Dental Arts Group

A family practice that takes your smile very seriously

On March 28th of this year, the Samuels Sinclair Dental Center hosted its 14th Annual “Give Kids a Smile Day.” At this yearly event, volunteers from across the state join together with this Rhode Island Hospital-based clinic to offer free dental care to children who are “under-served, uninsured and under-insured” or who are most especially low-income and without access to other dental services. At this special event, children received dental screenings, oral examinations, radiographs, cleanings, fillings and educational materials about proper oral health care.

This year, as in years past, several of the staff members of the Johnston-based practice Dental Arts Group lent their time, talent and expertise to this worthy cause. Two of the practice’s registered hygienists, Julie and Ellen, represented this longtime family dental practice as they supported the community and helped fulfill the practice’s commitment to encouraging healthy mouths and healthy smiles to people of all ages.

Dental Arts Group, which has served the community for over 20 years, is deeply committed to building strong and lasting relationships with their patients. It has always prided itself in the exceptional and personal way in which those many patients are treated. As stated on their informative website: “We always have our patients’ best interests and well-being in mind. We strive to create a warm and friendly environment for our patients and their families by treating them as if they are members of our own family.” This is more than a slogan for the dedicated members of this team of doctors, assistants and hygienists ~ it is their goal and mission.

During a patient’s first visit to their office, the experienced team of doctors and their assistants at Dental Arts Group, including Dr. Rochelle Rhodes, DMD, David McFarland, DDS and Richard Glick, DDS, always begin with a full and comprehensive exam. After going over the patient’s medical history, existing dental restorations and current periodontal health, a customized treatment plan is created that the patient understands and feels comfortable with. “It is important for these doctors that their patients are fully educated about their dental options and never feel rushed or afraid to ask questions.”

Dental Arts Group offers many state-of-the art procedures and related technologies that provide their patients with superior diagnostic and treatment procedures, including the following services:
