Posted by EcoDepot

Resource Recovery and National Gird invite Rhode Island residents to recycle old dehumidifiers on Saturday, June 16 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Resource Recovery located at 65 Shun Pike in Johnston. This special event is available to National Grid customers only and coincides with Resource Recovery’s on-site Eco-Depot collection. A second collection of household hazardous waste only will occur from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Providence Department of Public Works located at 700 Allens Ave. in Providence. To help reduce time spent in line, appointments should be made in advance for household hazardous waste. Appointments are not required for the dehumidifier turn-in.

To make an appointment for the Johnston or Providence Eco-Depot collections or to view the entire 2018 Eco-Depot schedule, visit www.ecodepotri.org or call 401-942-1430 x241.
