County Cork Irish Pub Come for the view, the food and the company

They come for the 20 oz. Imperial pours of Guinness and for the way the beer feels as it wipes away the cares of the day. They come for the bayside views, the lounge chairs and the sun sparkling off the water. They come for the warm hospitality of the servers, the pub’s relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and the lively music on the weekends. They come for the comradery of old friends and for the chance to make new acquaintances. And finally, they come for the hearty, homemade and heaping portions of food that is served up to its loyal customers all week long.

They come to County Cork Irish Pub, the most authentic Irish pub west of the bonny shores of Ireland, for all of this. . . and so much more.

County Cork Irish Pub is the pride and passion of Cora McAuliffe, a native of the real County Cork in Ireland. Cora and her husband Patrick opened this popular destination in Warwick with a dream to make every experience for their customers here memorable – and in this goal, they have succeeded beyond measure. This is a place where friends and family gather to escape the pressures of life and to relax.

As hungry diners and weary workers begin to trickle into the restaurant, platters of enticing food from the kitchen of cook Ken begin to filter out. The always popular Guinness Stew is matched only by the flaky Fish & hand-cut Chips that please any palate here by the bay. Juicy burgers and finger-licking good chicken wings are as mouth-watering as the Nachos and Gourmet Stuffies. Chowders and soups are perfect for fall, though there are always salads and wraps for those with a hankering for something lighter.

With the days beginning to take on that telltale chill of early autumn, Ken’s famous chili returns to the menu along with whatever specials Ken is whipping up in his kitchen. This is when he begins to get extra creative! Everything he serves is made-to-order and nothing is ever frozen or processed. Check out the specials offered while the Patriots play!

Fans of County Cork’s will be happy to see breakfasts served again on Sunday mornings, beginning on October 15th at 9:00am. Welcome your day of rest with a heaping platter of fluffy eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast, hash browns and more.

To top it off, check out the live entertainment this weekend ~ come enjoy the music of DJ Cross and Wet Paint. The fun starts at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights and at 4:00pm on Sunday.

County Cork Irish Pub is located at 50 Waterfront Drive off 2nd Point Road. For new fall hours, call 732-2675, follow them on Facebook or visit their website at www.countycorkirishpub.com. (Closed on Tuesdays - weekday lunches will no longer be served after Oct. 2nd except on the weekends).
