BankRI taps Izzo to lead Smithfield branch

After three years leading its Pawtucket location, Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) announced that Stacia Izzo has relocated to become the new manager of its Smithfield branch at 445 Putnam Pike.

Stacia has been a BankRI employee for nearly 17 years, beginning as a senior teller and steadily advancing in roles until becoming branch manager in Pawtucket midway through 2016.

“Throughout her BankRI career, Stacia has demonstrated a drive that is matched only by her commitment to our customers,” said Steven M. Parente, director of retail banking for BankRI. “She did a tremendous job leading Pawtucket – it was an easy decision to offer her the opportunity in Smithfield and a chance to serve in an area she also calls home.”

As branch manager, Izzo leads the office’s business outreach and development efforts, and oversees its daily operations. With a focus on delivering personalized banking, she is tasked with growing the branch’s customer base and is responsible for the hiring and development of a team of financial professionals.

Stacia is a resident of Johnston with her teenage daughter. She is a longtime supporter of the town’s youth basketball and football leagues, and is among BankRI’s leading champions for its annual Children’s Book Drive, Summer Food Drive, and Holiday Giving Tree programs.
