Vincent Parrillo

Vincent Parrillo, 88, of Laurie Ann Court, Johnston, passed away April 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Dorotea (Cianci) Parrillo. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, where he was a surgical technician serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Ardennes, receiving a Good Conduct Metal, European, African, Middle Eastern Theater Campaigns Ribbon Air Medal. He was a Civil Service Army Reserve employee for many years, retiring in 1978.
He was the devoted brother of Angelina Witherspoon of West Warwick and the late Jean Parrillo and Anna DeTora. Vincent is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held April 26 from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence.
