Chris Giardina, a retiree and former advisor with the Johnston Police Department’s Explorer Post 405, enjoys a lighter moment while completing yet another act of volunteerism extraordinaire at the Johnston Senior Center. He recently purchased scalloped bricks and even painted them before securing them in a way to help beautify the fountain inside the facility’s lobby. “I love to do things around the center and help make it a nice place for everyone.
