St. Rocco to host spring open house, showcase student talents

Posted

At the upcoming spring open house at St. Rocco School, guests will have the opportunity to tour the school, view the work on display in the school’s art exhibit and meet the school’s staff.

“This event is to accommodate any who may have missed our November and January open house dates,” Principal Lorraine Moschella said.

Each grade level has focused on a different element of art or media used, with the pre-K students displaying their first still-life artwork, first-graders showing their abstract color expression work, sixth-graders showing their self portraits, and eighth-graders displaying pop art.

The school will also be accepting applications for their “PreK3” and “PreK4” full-day three- or five-day preschool programs, as well as their full-day kindergarten, elementary and middle school programs. The educational programing at St. Rocco spans preschool through the conclusion of grade eight.

The open house and art exhibition will take place Wednesday, March 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. For more information about the open house and exhibit or school registration, please call 401-944-2993.
