The students in grades six, seven and eight at St. Rocco School have spent the past 12 weeks working on their science fair projects. Middle school science teacher Kerrie Crins assigned the projects. “The Scientific Method is part of the science curriculum. They could pick any topic, any hypothesis,” she said, noting that there were 85 projects in all. “I am proud of all of them. They worked really hard and did a great job. Every year they surprise me.” On Monday, Dec. 10, several Hendricken students, along with staff members at St. Rocco, judged the projects, with the winners announced later that evening. The top six scoring students will take their projects to the state science fair in March.
