Thornton holds Healthy Kids Day
On Oct. 18, Thornton Elementary School held a Healthy Kids Day which consisted of a series of stations with information and activities for the students. Stations included the American Heart Association, electrical safety, pet safety, dental hygiene, fitness, physical therapy, and bike and Halloween safety from Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Walgreens handed out goody bags with coloring books, water bottles, pencils, and crayons.
