The Pink Heals RI Chapter held its fifth annual Pink Heals Ball on April 30 at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick. Approximately 500 people were in attendance, making this year’s event the most successful yet. The Pink Heals provide support and compassion for those battling cancer. Often seen with their pink fire apparatus and pink fire gear, they often travel around the state to visit and bring flowers to those fighting the disease. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
