Orioles win Farm Majors title

The Sundaes Ice Cream Orioles defeated the Don’s Garage Red Sox in the Johnston Little League Farm Majors Division Championship game on July 19 by the score of 9-3. The Orioles lost the first game of the playoff tournament but battled back with five straight victories to win the 2014 championship title. The Orioles road to the championship started with a loss to the Brewers followed by victories over the Giants, Pirates and Cubs to climb out of the loser’s bracket. The Orioles then defeated the Red Sox by a score of 8-2 on Thursday night to force the deciding game.
