Miko Berja of Johnston, a student at Dayspring Christian Academy of Attleboro, had a strong finish recently at the 2012 Eastern Massachusetts/Rhode Island District Math Olympics sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International in Barrington. Berja placed fourth overall among Grade 5 students in the Computation phase of the competition. “We’re very proud of our students and their achievements during the Math Olympics,” said Beth Cabral, faculty adviser for the Math Olympics. “They have worked hard in the classroom all year to improve their math skills and it paid off at this competition.”
