Denise DeBritto of Johnston announces the engagement of her daughter, Maryssa J. DeBritto, to Jason M. Wallace, son of Michael Wallace of Groton, Conn. and Debbie Pray Crooker of Mystic, Conn.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Johnston Senior High School and Southern New Hampshire University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts on psychology. Maryssa will complete her master’s degree in elementary education at the University of New Haven this summer. She is a social worker at Genesis Health Care.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Robert E. Fitch High School, Groton, and Southern New Hampshire University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He is the manager of Christmas Tree Shoppe, Inc. in Waterford, Conn.
They couple is planning an October 11, 2014 wedding at Wright’s Mill Farm in Canterbury, Conn. Maryssa’s sister, Katheryn Regan, will be the flower girl.
