Maria D. "Dottie" Larsh, 82, passed away on August 27, 2014. She was the wife of Robert “Bob” Larsh.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Manuel and Lucy (Sousa) Vieira, she lived in Johnston. Upon retirement in 1999 she and her husband moved to Bradenton, Florida. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was the lead singer in our lives, the joy in our laughter. She was a devoted mother to her children and a true partner in life to her husband.
She is also survived by her children: Kenneth Larsh and his wife, Francine of Port Charlotte, Robert A. Larsh of Johnston and Laurie-Ann Moody and her husband, Daniel of Woodbridge, Virginia; her grandchildren, Alicia Peterson, Katie Larsh, Alex Moody, Daniel, Kendra and Jenna Larsh; and great-grandchildren, Savannah Peterson, Connor Petterson and Grayson Petterson; two brothers, Americo "Mackie" Vieira and Richard Vieira. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary Larsh and two brothers, Manuel and Joseph Vieira.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield.
