Kathleen (Hanley) Danti, 80, of Johnston passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving and devoted family on February 13, 2016. She was the beloved wife of William J. Danti for 58 years.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Francis T. and Marguerite (O'Kelly) Hanley. Kathleen was a very kind and thoughtful person who touched many lives. She was a great listener, who had a way of making others feel special. She will be deeply missed by many.

Besides her husband she leaves her loving daughter Kathleen A. Rossi and son-in-law, John J. Rossi of Johnston. She is also survived by five grandchildren; her loving granddaughter Jennifer, who never left her side during her brief illness, Joseph, Deanna, Donald and Isabella, a great-grandson; her sister Patricia A. DeNoncour; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren. She was the loving mother of the late Donald F. and Ronald J. Danti; and sister of the late Francis Hanley, Mary Collier and Marguerite Cox.

A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 20th at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 18 King Philip St. Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

Donations may be made in her memory to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home.
