The Johnston Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Johnston Community Center Association and Mayor Joseph Polisena, hosted the annual holiday festival Saturday. Rain forced the event indoors, but didn't stop children and families from having their photos taken with Santa, sipping on hot chocolate and singing Christmas carols.
