A. Advisory Opinion to the Town Council for Disposition Surplus of State Land PB ’15-04
Town Council seeks an advisory opinion from the Planning Board on the conveyance of State property located at 32 Roma Avenue (AP 38 Lot 54) by public sale. Title 37 Chapter 7 Section 5 of the General Laws of RI mandates that when selling land or property, the acquiring authority shall first offer the Town or City in which the land or property is located an offer to purchase said property at fair market value.
Documents available for review 8am-3pm, Planning Office, 100 Irons Ave. Items not heard by 10:30 pm rescheduled for subsequent meeting. Facilities are handicap accessible. Interpreter services to be requested from TTD (401) 792-9642, 72 hours advance notice required.
