Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a perfect macaroni and cheese dinner for your family? Wait no longer, as J&D Family Restaurant, located at 46 Putnam Pike, has partnered with the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council to take part in the Winter 2013 Secret Ingredient Dining Tour.
On Wednesday, March 13 from 6 to 8 p.m., diners will enjoy a four-course dinner at the restaurant, including an entrée of Lobster Mac’N Cheese, and learn from one of the restaurant chefs how to make the dish at home.
The tour, an ongoing program offered by the council, visits restaurants around the Blackstone Valley where guests are able to eat a delicious meal and learn how to prepare one of the dishes served.
Thierry Delos of J&D Family Restaurant will give the cooking demonstration providing diners with both the restaurant’s recipe for the comfort food dish as well as walking them through the actual preparation. The dinner being served that night features fried calamari, fried ravioli, salad, lobster mac’n cheese, J&D’s famous grapenut pudding and coffee.
