Gilbert E. Trudeau, 79 of George Arden Ave., passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Hope and Hospice Palliative Care of RI in Providence. He was the loving husband of Myrna L. (Froemel) Trudeau for 60 years.
Gilbert was born in Providence, the son of the late Emile and F. Mildred (Wilkinson) Trudeau. He worked at Brown and Sharpe for 28 years as an assembler and foreman, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed wood and model working, fishing and NASCAR.
He leaves a son and daughter-in-law, David and Claudia Trudeau, daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Paul Earnshaw; two grand daughters, Susan and Emily Earnshaw.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Route 117), Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
