Exit Realty Pinnacle celebrates opening of new headquarters on Atwood Avenue

Jamison A. Monello went from 800 to 2,400 square feet of office space in just one move.

The Johnston resident also went from a storefront location to a half acre of land, while transforming a long vacant family home into the new headquarters for Exit Realty Pinnacle. The new building officially opened last Thursday evening at 1251 Atwood Ave.

During a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony coordinated by North Central Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deborah Ramos, Monello welcomed family, friends and colleagues to his new space, which features two floors of office space, a complete kitchen, an outside patio and a backyard replete with a swinging hammock.

“This place is absolutely beautiful,” guests Kevin and Donna Fagnant told Brian Bursell, a.k.a. “The Running Realtor,” as he showed off a dining room area that features a brick fireplace, conference table and large high-back moveable leather chairs.

“It’s obvious that Jamison put a lot of work – and thought – into this building.”

Montello did so, he later explained, after waiting four years for the property to go on the market so he could put in a bid. Once he landed the prime property, it took him seven months to renovate the dwelling.

Guest upon guest kept talking to Monella and others about how much space is actually inside the two-floor building, and how impressed they were with the massive remake of the one-time vacant home.

“The property is deceiving,” Monella told his guests. “It may look small from the road, but look at all the space. It’s perfect for what we’re doing.”

Monella, who was accompanied by his wife Linda and two of his children, Christien, 9 and Sienna, 6, performed the actual official ribbon cutting with large gold scissors supplied by the Chamber. He also served fresh fruit kabobs and small pastry to his many guests.
