This Mother’s Day celebrate the special mothers in your life by treating them to a scrumptious brunch or dinner at Garde. The ProvidenceG restaurant venue, renowned for its new American preparation of French-inspired seafood and meat using the freshest, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, will offer à la carte brunch and dinner throughout the weekend, with featured specials, on Sunday, May 8.

Crafted by new Corporate Executive Chef Robert Sisca and prepared collaboratively by Sisca, Executive Chef Christopher Nardoza and Sous Chef Michael Haigh, guests can enjoy brunch at Garde from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 632-4799 or online at www.opentable.com/garde-de-la-mer.

“I love to cook, but there are some days when it is really special,” said Sisca. “I absolutely love cooking for my wife and our twins and Mother’s Day creates a special opportunity for me to honor my wife for all that she does as a Mom and celebrate our kids together. On Mother’s Day, she and the twins will be joining us at Garde, where we’ll be creating an unforgettable dining experience to show our appreciation for everything mothers do.”

Brunch offerings will include yellowtail tuna crudo topped with Asian pear, almonds, green garlic and a black vinegar-ink crisp; smoked white asparagus soup with a two-hour poached farm egg, prosciutto and fresh frisée; earl grey cured salmon Benedict served with poached eggs and house-made hollandaise sauce atop an English muffin; pancakes topped with fresh berries, sea salt butter and Vermont maple syrup; quiche with native mushrooms, zesty “cool ranch” crispy potatoes and Monterey Jack cheddar cheese; and a brisket burger topped with Morbier cheese, Berkshire pancetta, house-made aioli and a fried egg. Guests can pair their brunch selections with house specialty cocktails, including brunch favorites such as Bloody Marys, bellinis and mimosas, in addition to over 200 regional wines representing old and new world favorites. Brunch lovers can also look forward to upcoming brunches at Garde, offered every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those interested in an evening Mother’s Day celebration, may indulge in two featured specials that will complement Garde’s innovative dinner menu. In addition to menu favorites Mediterranean sea bass and Long Island duck breast, Garde will offer two new epicurean delights, including razor clam crudo topped with fresno pepper, citrus coriander sauce and Osetra caviar; and olive oil poached halibut paired with jumbo white asparagus, fresh almonds and a green garlic emulsion. Consistent with all of Garde’s seafood dishes, these selections draw inspiration from seasonal fish and shellfish sourced from both local and Mediterranean waters. To enhance their dining experience, guests can enjoy house-made infusions from Garde’s specialty cocktail menu or select from over 200 regional wines representing old and new world favorites.
