The 2014 AAA Southern New England Traffic Safety Awards Luncheon took place recently at the Providence Marriott Downtown. The Johnston Police Department was honored with a citation recognizing their efforts in pedestrian safety. These efforts have enabled their community to achieve five consecutive years without an on-road pedestrian fatality.
