Robert, first off, you are not watching Fox News that beats all the other cable news outlets combined 3 to 1 which explains your adolescent statements and lack of knowledge ... As for these powers being "ruthlessly exercised" not one person of the countless millions had ever complained. Snowden could have gone to any liberal news agency but decided to go to Russia, China etc... With what is happening now in the Middle East could one day dwarf what happened on 911 in which our economy would spiral into the stone age... Also, when your dead because of this terrorist threat you won't be caring much about individual rights that are so extreme they protect our enemies... As for a "police state" I think you should comment on Homeland Security, the IRS or the EPA, NLBR and lets throw into this mix the US Justice Dept. in which liberals like you have taken over these agencies and have perverted them indeed.
