Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is given pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws § 45-24-53 that
the Johnston Town Council will hold two Public Hearings at the Johnston
Municipal Court, 1395 Atwood Avenue, Suite 109, Johnston, R.I., on July 22,
2008 at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the
Public Hearings is to consider proposed Ordinance 2008-13, an ordinance
proposing to amend the zoning ordinance to add a continuing care requirement
community use permitted by special use permit in a B-2 zone and as part of a
planned district in the R-40 zoning district, the definition and parking
requirements for such use and providing for development plan review in
accordance with the Rhode Island General Laws. The second hearing will be held
to consider Ordinance 2008-11 to amend the Zoning Ordinance and the Official
Zoning Map, as summarized here:

application are requested to attend said meeting and be heard. Individuals
requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Office
of the Town Clerk seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date.
